Well what a wasted opportunity that was. William Regal, a steady mid-card talent whose in-ring glory days are gone but with a promising and potentially long career as a personality ahead of him is King of the Ring! The chance to give a worthy, young and eager worker on the way up a solid push has been truly squandered in what I’m declaring the botch of the year so far. Come on WWE creative you can do better than this, we all know it. Why are talents like Elijah Burke, Jimmy Wang Yang, JTG and many others being overlooked and ignored in the purgatory of heat and ECWWE?

I think we were both kind of tired this week so that combined with a somewhat weak outing from the London-based Raw provided for some interesting moments of weakness.  We are looking forward to KOTR next week though.  Mickie new champ though, yay!

So the “Voice of ECW” is now the head of WWE.com and we now have to suffer through our occasional ECWWE viewings with this chump who knows nothing about the business, nothing about the current state of the company and even less about any of the talent. After a surprisingly good WrestleMania we had an amazingly emotional Raw with Ric Flair’s farewell address and all the horsemen and WWE wrestlers past and present saluting the dirtiest player in the game!  Unfortunately we missed the chance to Rawment over it so we did Smackdown instead.  We mostly pontificate about WM and the upcoming draft in this one so please do enjoy!
